Nobody talks about the spinoff shorts because they're buried in the disc packages, but they're where the 91 Days cast actually breathes. Angelo and Nero riff off each other without the weight of prohibition and betrayal hanging over every line, and the comedy lands harder because you know exactly what these characters are capable of when they're not busy destroying each other. It's the show admitting that underneath the noir machinery, these are people who can actually make you laugh.

91 Daze is a set of seven comedy shorts released in 2016 as extras bundled with various disc packages. Each short centers on Angelo and Nero, with Corteo turning up in some of them, and drops the characters into a string of comedic situations. The shorts are light, brief and meant purely for laughs, offering a playful side of the cast.
