The CGI is PS1-era jagged, the plot is a container getting loaded onto a ship, but the creature design and sheer velocity of the action make you stop asking why you're watching. This is pure buildup studio showing off what CG could do in 2002, not pretending to be anything else.
Year 2119. An orbital medical transport secretly takes on a hazardous container, since storing such cargo on Earth is forbidden. None of the crew are told what is inside or what dangers it might pose. The container holds a living organism, something like a liquid or worm, that can read the DNA of other creatures and turn itself into an exact copy, killing the original in the process. A.F is a fifteen-minute action sci-fi special animated entirely in CG by buildup, with mecha elements in its genre mix.
