Sugar is an apprentice Snow Fairy in a world where Season Fairies make the weather, playing special musical instruments to bring wind, snow and sunshine. To become full-fledged fairies, she and her friends Salt and Pepper must find the Twinkles that will make their magic flowers bloom, though none of them knows what a Twinkle is. Their search leads them to Saga, a human girl who can see Season Fairies when others cannot. Saga likes her life calm and carefully planned, so she becomes a somewhat unwilling helper to these noisy, lively fairies. Together they hunt for the Twinkles while the fairies work on their magic, in a comedy fantasy series.
