Four tiny fairies living in bottles ask a clueless grade schooler for advice about the human world, and somehow this becomes the most genuinely wholesome thing you'll watch all season. The comedy comes from their complete inability to understand basic human behavior, filtered through the perspective of a kid who has no business teaching anyone anything. It's pure, low-stakes chaos where the worst that happens is a misunderstanding about what socks are for, and somehow that's enough because the fairies care about each other more than they care about being right.

Four tiny fairies live in bottles on the desk of the university student they call Sensei-san. Having come over from the fairy world, the peppy Kururu, the reserved and feminine Chiriri, the samurai-obsessed tomboy Sarara and the quiet, quirky Hororo want to join in human traditions and everyday life, but they understand very little about it. For guidance they turn to Sensei-san and to Tama-chan, the first-grade girl next door, whose advice is often just as misinformed as their own ideas. Set in 2004, the short series is a gentle slice-of-life comedy with a fantasy touch, built on the fairies' cheerful attempts to make sense of the human world.
