A freshman with nothing but admiration walks into a tennis club and discovers something fiercer: that she loves the game more than she loves the person who made her want to play it. SYNOPSIS
Hiromi enters high school with one goal: get close to Ryuuzaki, the tennis club's graceful star player. When new coach Jin Munakata arrives, he sees something in the clumsy freshman that Hiromi doesn't see in herself. Against all logic, he enters her in an upcoming tournament. The pressure shatters her confidence, and Hiromi prepares to quit the sport entirely. But walking away forces her to confront a hard truth: she actually loves tennis. The game itself, not the dream of being near someone else. She returns to the court and throws herself into Munakata's demanding training regimen. Under his guidance, her raw potential transforms into genuine skill. As her abilities sharpen, so does her connection to her coach.
