Noriko and Kazumi explain relativity and time dilation while deformed and panicking, which is funnier than it has any right to be. The show stops dead to teach you actual physics, then immediately goes back to chaos. It's what happens when a series loves its own premise so much it can't help but explain why the premise works.

Gunbuster raises plenty of questions about how its universe works, and these four comedic shorts set out to answer them. Super-deformed versions of Noriko, Kazumi and the Coach walk viewers through the scientific ideas behind the series, each lesson running about two minutes. They were first included as omake extras on the opening two volumes of the release, making them a light, bite-sized companion to the main story.
