Ikki's arrogance crashes into Ringo's precision, and the OVA doesn't pretend it's anything but a personal grudge wrapped in Air Gear mechanics. The Sleeping Forest arc strips away the tournament framework and forces Kogarasumaru into a territory where momentum and rage aren't enough. You're watching characters at their breaking points, not their victories.

Three OVA episodes adapt key arcs from Oh! Great's Air Gear manga. The first stages the showdown between Ikki and Ringo drawn from the sixteenth volume. The second brings the Kogarasumaru team into a celebrated fight with the original Sleeping Forest team, set inside Inorganic Net. Each episode came packaged with a limited edition of a later manga volume. Expect a mix of action, comedy, sports competition and ecchi fan service, handled by a staff and voice cast different from those of the earlier TV series.
