Nobody talks about this one. A family of literal monsters lives in the suburbs and goes to work and school like everyone else, except the comedy doesn't come from the twist. It comes from watching them be genuinely patient with each other when life gets boring or small. The show has no plot to speak of. What it has instead is the kind of quiet observation that makes you recognize your own family in a household of demons. It moves slow, asks nothing of you, and somehow becomes the most restful thing you'll watch all year. This is what happens when someone decides a comedy doesn't need spectacle to make you laugh. It just needs to let you sit in a room with people you actually like.
