A baseball team buys a maid robot by accident and has to make it work anyway. SYNOPSIS
Karugamo High School's baseball team is on life support. After a humiliating loss to the Eagles, players bail left and right, leaving the roster dangerously short. Desperate to field nine players, coach Harumaki Shunpei makes a wild decision: buy a robot to fill the gap. Budget constraints force a compromise, though. Instead of a specialized baseball unit, he ends up with Azusa, a maid robot programmed for domestic chores. What Azusa lacks in baseball-specific training, she compensates for with pure heart and relentless drive. She shows up ready to fight, even as the team faces opponents equipped with purpose-built athletic machines that should demolish her on the field. The matches become increasingly absurd as this cheerful housekeeping bot goes toe-to-toe with cutting-edge sports equipment. Winning seems impossible until hints of Azusa's true origins surface.
