Anime Like Baja's Studio
A kid raised inside an animation studio doesn't know where he ends and the drawings begin. One night alone in the building, that distinction stops mattering. What starts as a quiet walk through empty rooms becomes something stranger, where the boundary between the animator's world and the animated one dissolves into something neither hostile nor reassuring, just inevitable. SYNOPSIS
Baja has always called the Kohata Anime Studio home. Raised among the artists and animators who fill these walls with creativity, he knows nothing of the world beyond the studio gates. His days pass peacefully alongside the ducks floating in the pond outside, simple companions in a place devoted to bringing drawings to life. One night, when the studio falls silent and the creators leave, Baja ventures out to check on his duck friends. What he discovers shatters the quiet: a cat stalks the pond, hunting. Faced with danger to those he cares about, Baja must find courage he didn't know he possessed and act before it's too late. What unfolds is an unexpected journey through the darkness. A young character steps beyond his sheltered existence to confront real peril, learning that protection sometimes requires risk. This brief but poignant story captures the magic of growing up, the weight of responsibility, and the lengths we go to defend what matters.
