This is the season that asks whether you actually stuck around, because it opens the door on a shelf full of Bakugan you already have opinions about. Drago, Trox, Pegatrix, Hydorous, Howlkor and Pharol have been through the Geogan misfits and the Vestroian elemental energy leaking into Earth, and Legends is the payoff chapter of that reboot run, the ninth season overall and the fifth of Battle Planet. Thirteen episodes, no filler cushion, which means the brawls carry the weight the dialogue usually would. The reboot never pretended to be the 2007 show, and by now it has stopped apologizing for that: the Awesome Brawlers here are veterans, not kids discovering a marble in a park. If you tracked every evolution line from Geogan Rising forward, this is where the ledger gets closed. Roll it out and see who is still standing.

Bakugan: Legends is a 13-episode action fantasy ONA from 2023. It serves as the fifth season of Bakugan: Battle Planet and the ninth season of the franchise overall. The Awesome Brawlers learn that the bond linking Earth and Vestroia is close to fading away entirely. As that connection weakens, a fresh danger rises into view, and the team must respond. Earlier seasons saw Vestroian elemental energy spill into Earth and spark elemental evolutions among the Bakugan.
