SYNOPSIS
Takasugi Shinsaku and Katsura Kogorou are rebels with a dangerous mission: locate a temporal artifact before the Japanese government weaponizes it. Sneaking aboard a military vessel, they finally track down the mysterious timepiece, only to have it vanish into the hands of an unknown thief. Their pursuit leads them to Kyoto, where everything has gone catastrophically wrong. The capital has fallen under the control of Susanoo, a deity who now rules in place of the government. The city itself has transformed. Reality warps around divine presence, and the people moving through its streets are no longer quite themselves. What should be a straightforward retrieval mission becomes something far stranger. Takasugi and Katsura must navigate a world where the rules have fundamentally shifted, where mythological forces have invaded the historical timeline, and where recovering the timepiece means understanding what happened to reality itself.
