SYNOPSIS
Totta is an elementary school kid with an obsession: fishing. His quiet hobby gets turned upside down when a mysterious creature named Potepen bursts out of a barcode on his snack bag. This tiny being explains that bar souls, magical entities sealed within everyday barcodes, are scattered everywhere waiting to be caught. With Potepen as his guide, Totta discovers he's been given a legendary fishing rod capable of reeling in these bar souls. What started as a normal afternoon becomes the beginning of an adventure where convenience store items, product packaging, and supermarket shelves transform into fishing grounds. Each bar soul has its own power and personality, making the hunt unpredictable and wild. Totta and Potepen travel from location to location, competing against other hunters, uncovering mysteries about why these creatures exist, and learning that this fishing competition runs deeper than it first appears. The series mixes the peaceful rhythm of traditional fishing with explosive action sequences and the thrill of discovering what you'll catch next.
