A kid with purple blood decides the solution to genocide is a card game. It's absurd enough to work, and the show commits to it completely. Galette doesn't win arguments through speeches about tolerance, he wins by making people understand each other through the one language they all speak, which forces every faction to confront what they actually fear. Five episodes is barely enough time, but that's exactly the point: sometimes the most radical act is refusing to let hatred have the last word before you run out of time.

Centuries after the events of Saga Brave, a third race called the Mauve has appeared alongside Humans and Mazoku. Marked by purple blood and great intelligence, the Mauve are rejected by the other two races, who regard them as a danger to the world's peace. Galette Revolt, a teenage Mauve who has faced that prejudice himself, sets out to find a way for all three races to understand one another through Battle Spirits. Meanwhile, factions within each race pursue their own darker methods, some to preserve the peace and others to remake the world. The story is a five-episode sci-fi adventure released online.
