This exists to answer a question fans have carried for a decade. Ten years after Dan's sacrifice, you finally see what that cost the people he saved, what they built on top of his absence, and whether any of it was worth what he gave up. The three episodes don't have time for bloat, every scene is here because someone who lived through the original saga needs to see it. Barone and Clackey aren't abstractions anymore; they're people running a fragile peace that's already cracking. The visuals arrive like a love letter to anyone who remembers why they cared about this world in the first place. If you watched Brave ten years ago and never came back, this is the show that pulls you back in.
In 2661 CE, ten years have passed since Bashin Dan gave himself up to stop the Earth from resetting. Barone and Clackey mark the anniversary with a conference honoring Dan and the bond between humans and Mazoku. Under that calm, a group called Cardinal Sign wants humans to rule over the Mazoku and turns to terrorism and violence to get there. Somehow it holds the 12 Zodiac X-Rares, cards that should have disappeared along with Dan. The core bearers then feel a strange sensation they have known before, and a card called "The Clash King's Miracle" shows up in their decks. The ONA runs three episodes and is the ninth entry in the Battle Spirits franchise.
