Nobody talks about this one. A girl reads manga in the bath, completely absorbed, completely unbothered by the world outside the tub. The comedy lives in that specific peace, in the tiny ritual of hot water and paper and a mind that goes nowhere else. It's a 24-minute argument for doing absolutely nothing with perfect focus.

Miss Bernard said gets one more episode in this special, an unaired thirteenth installment bundled with the Blu-ray and DVD release. Sawako Machida, nicknamed Miss Bernard, is a lazy girl who wants to be seen as well-read but rarely gets around to reading. Her bookworm friends talk with her about famous works of literature she has not necessarily finished. Expect short gag comedy in a relaxed slice-of-life mood.
