Anime Like Big Order
A kid with a forgotten apocalypse wish tries to save his sister while the show itself seems like it's being written in real-time, making rules up and breaking them in the same breath. The plot spirals so fast and so completely that by episode five you stop asking if it makes sense and just watch what happens next. Ten episodes means it never overstays the chaos, and that restraint is the only thing keeping this from collapsing entirely, which somehow makes the whole thing work.
SYNOPSIS
A decade ago, a mysterious fairy named Daisy granted ten-year-old Eiji Hoshimiya a single wish. Whatever he asked for triggered catastrophe. The world fractured in what became known as the Great Destruction, killing countless people and leaving civilization barely standing. Eiji has spent the last ten years unable to remember what he wished for, haunted only by the knowledge that his desire caused it all. Now a high school student, Eiji focuses on caring for his chronically ill sister while trying to live a normal life. But normalcy isn't an option anymore. In the decade since the Great Destruction, thousands of others have been granted the same power: the ability to manifest their deepest desires into reality. These people, called Orders, are feared and hunted by society as destructive forces. Worse, several Orders blame Eiji for their suffering and want him dead. Trapped between his fractured past and vengeful present, Eiji must confront what his wish truly was and whether he deserves the life he's trying to protect.
