This show doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is: pure, unfiltered fanservice wrapped around competent action comedy that actually understands pacing. The bikini armor is the entire point, not a distraction from the story, the show commits so hard to its premise that it loops back to funny, because the juxtaposition between absurd outfits and genuinely solid dungeon-crawling logic becomes the joke. If you're looking for subtext or character development, you're watching the wrong thing. Four adventurers in skimpy bikini armor set out to stop the demon king in a fantasy world modeled on an RPG, complete with swords and magic. The party is made up of a brave Fighter, the daughter of a legendary warrior, along with a scatterbrained Paladin, a timid Mage and a seductive Dark Elf. Chronically broke, vain and often overpowered by the dangers around them, they struggle just to leave the first town. Between bartering with villagers, fighting monsters and running from dungeons, they must learn to get along before facing the ultimate evil. The short episodes mix action and fantasy with broad comedy and heavy ecchi fanservice.
