It takes the dumbest convention in fantasy RPGs, armor that covers less the stronger it gets, and treats it like a straight-faced retail job. Kautsu wanders into a shop that stocks gear exclusively for female adventurers, and the comedy comes from everyone discussing coverage, fit and defense stats with the sober tone of a tailor taking measurements. At roughly three minutes an episode there is no fat on it, which is exactly why it works as a between-shows palate cleanser rather than a season commitment. Be honest with yourself, though: the premise is sharper than the slapstick built on top of it, and the punchlines land maybe half the time. The art and sound do their job on an obviously small budget and never pretend otherwise. Twelve tiny episodes, one running gag, and the weirdly specific pleasure of hearing bikini armor justified as legitimate equipment.
