Nobody talks about this one. A single animated music video where every frame is built to dissolve the distance between watching someone transform and becoming them yourself. Kanno's direction doesn't illustrate the song, it embodies it, each cut timed so precisely that by the end you're not observing self-acceptance anymore, you're living it. The whole thing lasts four minutes. It stays with you for days.

Chiaki Kanno directs and animates this anime take on the music video for Nogizaka46's Boku wa Boku wo Suki ni Naru.
