SYNOPSIS
Akio stands at humanity's final refuge, the Astronomy Club, where she discovers a brutal truth: two colossal Usurpers are closing in on the Fire of Life, the last beacon of hope for a dying world. To stop them, she and another pilot must synchronize their machines in combat, pushing both body and spirit to the breaking point. But the real battle isn't just mechanical. As the second Usurper bears down on them, Akio finds herself caught between two impossible paths. One offers the comfort of a present she's finally allowed herself to feel, moments of peace and connection she thought lost forever. The other demands sacrifice, a future that requires her to surrender everything she's become. The choice before her isn't about winning or losing the war. It's about what she's willing to give up to save what remains of humanity. When happiness itself becomes a curse, and every heartbeat brings her closer to an impossible decision, Akio learns that some victories demand a price no one should have to pay.
