Eila and Sanya's dynamic is the entire show, and it knows it. The comedy lands because these two have a rhythm that the main series never lets them explore, playing off each other's absurdity without apology. If you're here for the central cast of Brave Witches, you'll feel the absence immediately. But if you came for these two specific witches, this special understands exactly what you wanted to see them do together.

Set between the seventh and eighth episodes of the TV series, this special finds Petersburg getting ready for a New Year's Eve party. Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing is set on taking Sanya V. Litvyak for a relaxed stroll through the city, but every attempt to ask her is cut short and the two keep getting pulled apart. Meanwhile a Neuroi is heading for the base, putting both the squad and the holiday festivities at risk. The special mixes action with ecchi elements.
