Coda the cat, Alegro the dog, Largo the donkey and Minuet the chicken are four animals whose story echoes the Grimm tale of the Bremen Town Musicians. They rescue Rondo, an alien traveling on a mission of peace, and he thanks them with a machine that can turn them into humans. In their new human bodies, the four head into town, where they witness the madness of war. Tezuka Production made this one-off adventure special for NTV's 1981 24-Hour Television charity broadcast, under the supervision of Osamu Tezuka.
