A corporation rebuilds your entire city and then gets to decide what counts as human. The Knight Sabers exist because the official system is already broken. Tokyo lies in ruins after a catastrophic quake reshapes the city's future. Genom Corporation seizes the opportunity, flooding the streets with Boomers: artificial lifeforms designed to rebuild and serve humanity. When these bio-engineered workers malfunction and turn violent, the official AD Police prove helpless to contain them. Lina Yamazaki arrives in the rebuilt city seeking work, but she also hopes to join the Knight Sabers, a secretive vigilante group whose members wear powered suits to destroy rogue Boomers. In Tokyo she meets the mysterious singer Priscilla Asagiri, the businesswoman Sylia Stingray and the lively Nene Romanova, each drawn together for reasons of her own. As the fighting escalates, the women begin to suspect that the Boomer crisis runs far deeper than they imagined. Mecha action and science fiction meet in a battle over the city's future.
