A demon lord's kid has to pass as a hero student while everyone at school is actively hunting demons, and the show treats this like a sitcom where the joke is never that he's a demon, it's that nobody can tell. The comedy lives in Yu Renjie's deadpan survival instinct colliding with actual friendships he didn't plan on forming. By episode three you stop rooting for him to succeed at the con and start rooting for him to not have to choose between the con and the people he's stuck with.

Yu Renjie, son of the demon lord, is ordered to enroll at Hero's Academy, a school that accepts only upright and distinguished students. His task is to earn a Hero's Certificate, which would give his demon clan legitimacy and help it survive. The risk is enormous: any demon cultist who is found out will be slain on the spot by righteous knights. On his very first day, Yu discovers that his personal information has been leaked. To keep his true identity hidden, he is forced to disguise himself in women's clothing. What follows is a fantasy comedy about a perilous and absurd school life, where one slip could end everything.
