A blocked artist, a childhood friend who's been waiting in plain sight, and exactly two episodes to remember why he picked up a brush in the first place. Daisuke can't paint anymore. The gifted high school artist is caught in a creative block that keeps him away from the canvas. His childhood friend Amane, who loves him deeply, talks him into painting a portrait of Yurina, a girl with a heart condition, before she goes in for surgery. What starts as a way past his block becomes something deeper: as Daisuke finds his way back to his art, he also comes to see the love that he and Amane share. The two-episode OVA mixes romance and light comedy in a slice-of-life setting, a small, intimate story about getting back what was lost and recognizing feelings that were there all along.
