Ryou is a 32-year-old author of erotic manga, an otaku who is helpless around women. Ami is a 28-year-old fujoshi with a low opinion of real-life men. Neither of them handles the opposite sex well. After a fateful meeting, the film follows the pair as they work their way through the tangle of human relationships. Along the way they come to grasp both the bitter and sweet sides of modern love in this romantic comedy.
