It ambushes you. You come in braced for a leer and end up watching a middle schooler explain why the wrong band size digs into your ribs, and somehow taking notes. Nayu drops the black lace bomb on day one, gets branded the class pervert for it, and then just keeps calmly, earnestly evangelizing proper fit until the girls circling her stop giggling and start asking real questions about their own bodies. The show has almost no plot, it's twelve episodes of club meetings, changing-room panic and small measured kindnesses, and the calm is the point. The title is the enemy here, a marketing choice that scared off exactly the audience this thing was made for. Watch it for the moment a girl who has been hiding under a sports bra finally gets fitted right and stands up straighter.

Nayu Hayama begins middle school with a stir: she trips on her way up to the stage to give a speech and ends up showing her black lace underwear to the entire freshman class. Underwear is her passion, and she can tell at a glance when the women around her are wearing the wrong fit. Convinced that a good selection matters for women of every age, she sets up an underwear club to teach her schoolmates, many of whom are worried about how their bodies are developing and what to wear. Spreading the word proves difficult, though: her unusual hobby sparks embarrassing rumors and draws unwanted attention from boys. The show is an ecchi comedy adapted from a seinen manga.
