SYNOPSIS
Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura run City Hunter, a freelance outfit that handles jobs nobody else will touch. When a wealthy American woman named Emily O'Hara walks through their door with an enormous paycheck and a simple request,protection from a dangerous man,it seems like easy money. The catch arrives faster than expected. Nothing adds up. Emily's story doesn't quite hold together, Douglas isn't who she claims he is, and the real conspiracy reaches far deeper than a simple bodyguard gig. Ryo starts to suspect he's been set up as the actual target, but pinning down who wants him dead and why becomes the real puzzle.
