Ryo no Propose is a single-episode City Hunter OVA from 2015 that mixes action, comedy and mystery. It was produced as a bonus DVD for readers who bought all twelve volumes of City Hunter XYZ Edition, the new release of the manga. Buyers collected a coupon from each volume and mailed them to the publisher to order it, and the discs went out in May 2016. The project marked the 30th anniversary of City Hunter and served to showcase new animation and a new cast.
