Leila Malcal, fresh from earlier victories, is promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and put in command of W-0. After stopping a plot to kidnap the General of the European army, she recruits the three people behind it, Ayano Kosaka, Yukiya Naruse and their leader Ryou Sayama, to fill the unit's shortage of pilots. They agree, hoping to find somewhere they belong. When W-0 is ordered to drop behind enemy lines for a commando raid, Leila goes with them to keep casualties down. In the fighting, Akito is gripped by an uncontrollable urge for violence and cuts down anyone in his path. He is unaware that he will soon meet the person who placed this bloodthirsty curse on him, someone he knows all too well. The second Akito the Exiled film is a mecha sci-fi action story.
