Two brothers are out riding their hover bikes when a giant metal fortress blocks their way. A short fight leaves the fortress badly damaged, and as it pulls back it drops the pair in a wasteland. Nomads living there tell them the fortress has hidden inside a mountain and beg the brothers to finish it off. Two of the locals come along as guides, and on the way the group gains help from a faery who can turn into a mech-warrior woman.
