Eleven minutes to establish why these kids are about to die together. Missing Footage doesn't pad its runtime, it uses every second to show you the relationships the games only implied, then locks you in a room with them before everything goes wrong. By the time the OVA ends, you understand what you're losing.

A single-episode horror OVA, released as a bonus with a limited edition of the spinoff game Corpse Party -The Anthology- Sachiko no Renai Yuugi Hysteric Birthday 2U. In the wider story, a group of classmates stays after school one night to try the Happy Sachiko charm, a paper doll ritual meant to keep them friends for life. If the ritual is done wrong, they are pulled into a decaying ghostly version of Tenjin Elementary, a school demolished years before. There they must find each other again and uncover the haunting's secrets to survive. Missing Footage steps back from that ordeal to show what the friends' everyday lives looked like on the day before everything went wrong.
