The Nohara family gets framed by a criminal organization and spends the entire movie choosing yakiniku over survival. That's the whole joke, and it never stops being funny because Shin-chan's priorities are exactly yours. The movie strips away everything except the core formula: chaos, stupidity, and a kid too honest to care about consequences.

The Nohara family has one simple goal: enjoy a lavish yakiniku dinner. That plan falls apart when a mysterious organization called Sweet Boys schemes to have them placed on a wanted list, suspected of terrible crimes. Now they are on the run from Sweet Boys' pursuit. To ever sit down to that meal, the family has to stop running and go meet the group's boss in person. That boss is based in Atami, a hot spring resort city in Shizuoka Prefecture. This feature film is a slapstick comedy with ecchi touches, deliberately returning to the plain, laugh-first style of the TV series.
