The residents of Kasukabe share a strange dream in which a giant fish swallows them, and afterward each of them can dream whatever they like while asleep. At first it's paradise, as people enjoy personal dreams made just for them. Then the dream world slowly turns into a place of nightmares. Shinnosuke Nohara and the Kasukabe Defense Forces welcome Saki Nubatama, a girl who has just moved to town, into their group, and together they head into the dream world to find out what is behind the nightmares. The Nohara family joins the fight too, in a comedy adventure built around dreams gone wrong.
