A kid walks into the wrong dream and wakes up entangled with a creature that feeds on desire. Ryuuhei's brother is dead, the city is infected with twisted wants made flesh, and he's stuck between them with no map and no reason to trust anything he sees. The show treats its premise as a problem to solve, not a concept to explain, which means you're constantly disoriented the way Ryuuhei is, never sure if the next person is real or another manifestation of hunger wearing a human shape.

Ryuuhei's ordinary high school life in Shibuya shatters the moment a strange creature bites him after kickboxing practice. That night, an odd dream full of peculiar beings disturbs his sleep. When those same creatures attack him in the real world the following day, Jessica Clayborn and Aruto Fushibe step in to save him and declare him their newest recruit. Pushed by Jessica to become a knocker-up, someone able to fight monsters born in the dream realm, he turns his kickboxing skills into a weapon while rumors of "Drops" spread across the city. As a child, Ryuuhei saw his beloved older brother die in a mysterious incident, and a strange mark was left near the body. Now, fighting to protect the city, he runs into that same unforgettable mark. The show blends action, adventure, drama and fantasy around a cheerful, impulsive hero with a painful past.
