A new world awaits discovery. Planet Promethe has been found, and nations race to unlock its secrets through massive exploration initiatives. Japan's contribution arrives in the form of two ambitious projects: the Space Carrier Jasdum and Dangard A, a colossal robot built to traverse alien terrain. Young Takuma Ichimonji trains hard for the chance to pilot this mechanical marvel, driven by more than scientific ambition. His father, the celebrated astronaut Dantetsu, vanished years ago under suspicious circumstances. The public blamed him for the disaster that claimed his life, leaving his legacy tainted and his family's honor shattered. By becoming Dangard A's pilot and succeeding where his father's mission failed, Takuma hopes to restore his family's name and prove that Dantetsu was no reckless fool. But selection is rigorous, competition is fierce, and space exploration demands more than determination. As Takuma pushes himself to the limit, he must confront whether redemption through piloting humanity's greatest robot is actually within reach.
