After the events of Date A Live II, Shidou's calm days in Tengu City come to an end when a mysterious sphere giving off spiritual waves appears, along with an unknown girl named Mayuri who seems to be watching him. To learn who she is and why the disturbance began, Shidou is handed a new mission: go on dates with six spirits, each of whom wants him all to herself, and make them fall in love. With humanity's fate on the line, the dating war starts again. The film is an original story supervised by light novel author Koushi Tachibana, mixing romantic comedy, fantasy action and sci-fi.
