Kei spends his days dealing with schoolwork and trouble with girls until an unknown force attacks Earth with robotic war machines. He and his childhood friend Naoki are recruited into Spirits, a group overseen by the government that trains its members to defend the planet by piloting the Devadasy, a powerful mech found by Kei's grandfather. Much about the machine is still a mystery, and what nobody knows could put lives at risk. The three-episode OVA mixes mecha action with ecchi elements.
