A bullied kid gets handed absolute power and immediately becomes exactly the kind of person his tormentors were, just with a giant robot. Linebarrel doesn't flinch away from what that actually costs, watching Kouichi stumble through godhood while the people around him pay for his arrogance is the real plot. Kouichi Hayase is fourteen, and his life has been mediocre at best. His classmates bully him, and he escapes into daydreams of being a hero. That changes when an accident leaves him with a girl and a gigantic humanoid robot called Linebarrel. The extraordinary power he gains throws him and everyone around him into a sudden whirl of battles, intrigue and friendship. Along the way Kouichi makes new friends, says goodbye to old ones and learns what life has to offer. Above all, he takes on heavy responsibilities and must face the world around him. The series is a mecha action story adapted from a shounen manga.
