SYNOPSIS
Hidomi is seventeen and convinced her life will never be anything worth remembering. She goes to school, comes home, and waits for something, anything, to disrupt the numbness. Then Haruko shows up as a substitute teacher, and everything Hidomi thought she understood about the world gets scrambled. Medical Mechanica descends on the city. Giant robots tear through streets. In the chaos, Hidomi learns she's carrying something inside her,a power she never knew existed, something Haruko needs to pull out. The question becomes whether Haruko actually wants to help this ordinary girl, or if she's using her for something else entirely. This is FLCL returning after years away, carrying the same anarchic energy and weirdo logic as the original while asking what happens when you're the one chosen instead of just watching from the sidelines. It's about growing up, recognizing your own potential, and wondering if the people who see that potential are really looking out for you.
