Yuu is so aggressively normal that watching three untouchable sisters slowly realize he's worth their time becomes genuinely addictive. The show refuses to lean on fanservice or make the girls compete for him like prizes, which means their warmth when it comes actually means something. P.A Works animation wraps everything in genuine comfort, but the real hook is simpler: watching closed-off people soften around someone who just refuses to leave them alone. The repetition sets in after six episodes and the premise doesn't bend much, but by then you're invested in whether Yuu actually pulls off his mother's wish to build something real with them.

Yuu Ayase is perfectly ordinary. His late mother, Subaru, was a legendary actress, but he inherited none of her talent. When the head of the Mikadono family, his mother's longtime friend and benefactor, takes him in, Yuu transfers to Saika Academy, her old school. There he finds himself sharing a home with three brilliant, beautiful sisters who rule the campus as its Three Royals: Miwa in shogi, Niko in karate and Kazuki in theater. The catch is that these untouchable sisters treat Yuu coldly, and their devotion to their own fields has left them estranged from one another, strangers under the same roof. But Yuu's mother left him with a final wish: build a true and happy family. That means winning over three cold hearts with nothing but clumsy sincerity. What follows is a romantic comedy about an average guy stumbling into the lives of three prodigies who might need him more than they realize.
