A rock tells you to save an animated world, then the show literally puts live actors inside it. The premise sounds like a bit that overstays its welcome by two minutes, but the show keeps finding new ways to make the collision between real and drawn absurd. It's isekai filtered through a comedy that refuses to apologize for how stupid the setup is, and somehow that becomes the entire point, watching ordinary high school kids treat prophecy like a math assignment they didn't ask for.

Junpei picks up an odd-looking rock on his way to remedial classes and brings it along without a second thought. Then it talks. The rock declares that he and four other students are the heroes of a prophecy, chosen to drive out devils of destruction, and a burst of light carries all five into an animated world. There a Sphinx appears and challenges them with puzzles: unless they solve them, they cannot return to reality, and the creature also has designs on conquering the world. Stuck in their new surroundings, the boys begin attending school in the anime realm and have to cooperate to protect their home. The comedy mixes animation with live action, blending supernatural adventure and drama as the group tries to get back to the three-dimensional world.
