These are two DVD specials released alongside Donyatsu, a comedy with a loose science-fiction slant. The parent series is set one summer in the 21st century, in a Shinjuku that some unexplained catastrophe has stripped of every human. Odd creatures live in the ruins instead, among them Donyatsu, a cross between a cat and a doughnut, and Begaru, a feline bagel.
