Doraemon and his friends open a hole in time and travel to Mayana, a lost Mayan civilization hidden in the jungle. There, Nobita meets Thio, a prince and heir to the throne who looks exactly like him. When the kingdom is threatened by the evil witch Ledina and her forces, the two boys agree to trade places in an effort to save Mayana. The film is a fantasy adventure with plenty of comedy along the way.
