Anime Like Doraemon: Nobita and the Platoon of Iron Men
A kid finds giant robot parts falling from the sky and decides the logical next step is to build a weapon in a mirror world, then immediately regrets it when an alien girl shows up asking to borrow it for an invasion. The entire movie is Nobita learning that some secrets stay secrets for a reason, but not before he's accidentally responsible for starting the very thing he was trying to prevent. Lilulu becomes the moral center of a story that pretends to be about stopping an invasion, when it's really about whether a kid can trust someone from the other side.
SYNOPSIS
Nobita stumbles upon colossal mechanical fragments scattered across his neighborhood and enlists Doraemon to transport them into a mirror world where they secretly assemble the pieces into a towering robot warrior named Zandacross. The boys keep their creation hidden, uncertain of its true purpose. Everything changes when Lilulu materializes before them, a girl from another world seeking the robot for reasons she refuses to explain. She claims Zandacross is meant to defend against an impending invasion, but her evasive answers raise suspicion. When an armada of mechanical soldiers materializes in the sky, the scope of the threat becomes impossibly real. Nobita and his friends must race to understand what Lilulu truly wants while deciding whether to trust her with the weapon they've built. The boundary between savior and destroyer blurs as the group realizes Lilulu might be the only one with the power to stop the very invasion she once sought to initiate. Friendship and risk collide when a child must choose between protecting her world and saving another.
