A kid made of dirt wakes up for the first time and the entire world is equally strange to him. That simple contract between character and viewer makes every three minutes count. This is stop-motion as pure discovery, not spectacle.

A child angel relieves itself from a cloud, and the unusual rain falls onto a dark city street, where it brings Doron Coron to life: a little boy made of dirt. He sets off rolling through the city to see what is there. He has a nice encounter with a worm and a far less pleasant one with a bird's droppings, but his spirits lift when a plant sprouts on his head. As the plant keeps growing, Doron Coron makes his way to the countryside and enjoys the natural world. The short is a three-minute clay animation by Yuuichi Itou, made for a TV Kanagawa campaign.
