Senku finally has a real opponent, and it breaks the show open in the best way. Xeno thinks like him, moves like him, but wants everything he's built to burn. The intellectual warfare becomes the entire plot, the hard science becomes the weapon, and watching two geniuses play 4D chess while the world watches from below is completely different from anything Dr. STONE has done before. This is the season where the show stops explaining how things work and starts asking whether the person explaining should be trusted at all.

The third and final cour of Dr. STONE's fourth season picks up after Senkuu Ishigami has made peace with Dr. Xeno, and his dream of a crewed mission to the Moon is at last in motion. Xeno takes charge of building the rocket's engine. Meanwhile, Senkuu's team keeps crossing continents and oceans to gather the resources and people needed for the launch, and to bring the rest of humanity back to life. From the Moon, the mysterious Whyman still looms over the planet. As humanity's efforts come together, a showdown with Whyman, and the answers people have lacked for centuries, draws closer. The series mixes action, adventure, comedy and science fiction.
