Luna and her classmates crash into a planet where nature is the actual enemy, and they have to figure out survival with zero preparation, zero experience, and zero margin for error. The show commits to this premise completely, no magic reset buttons, no convenient supplies, no sudden competence. It's watching a group of soft academy kids learn that staying alive means accepting you'll fail, repeatedly, until failure kills you.

In the 22nd century, Earth can no longer support life, and people live in safe, climate-controlled space colonies. Luna, an orphan and transfer student on a scholarship to Soria Academy, joins a school field trip that goes badly wrong. A gravity storm throws her, her robot cat Chako and six classmates onto a planet that appears to have no inhabitants. With no experience of the wild, the group must stay alive until help arrives, if it ever does. Luna takes the lead of a mixed crew: loner Kaoru, pampered Howard, timid Sharla, dutiful Bell, proud musician Menori and young prodigy Shingo. Whether the planet is truly empty, however, remains an open question.
