The music box twist rewires everything you expect from a DBZ movie: instead of a new threat arriving, you're excavating one that was already buried, already known to be too dangerous to fight. Tapion's desperation becomes Goku's responsibility in a way the franchise rarely allows. The Fusion Dance exists as a callback that lands harder here than anywhere else in the series.

The Z Warriors come across a music box that cannot be opened, and they learn that the dragon balls are the key to unsealing it. Once they open it, they find a warrior named Tapion inside. He had shut himself away in the box, and a monster called Hildegarn was sealed in with him. With that evil creature now a threat, Goku has to master a new technique to defeat it. The film is a science fiction action adventure in the Dragon Ball Z franchise.
